Rabbits can be a wonderful pet and family member but they do require very specific care as they are complex beings. Lack of knowledge and research on the care involved in owning a bunny is a big reason why they are surrendered to shelters or worse, released outside. For this reason, it is also the hope that providing more practical solutions to bun parents, making their life a little easier, will prevent even just one person from surrendering their bunny to an already overcrowded shelter or full rescue. LitterBuns has the potential to change your life as a bun parent, and this I can say with confidence!

Since joining this amazing bun community, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with many rescue organizations and I’ve seen the wonderful and hard work they do to help as many buns as possible. Rescues however, can’t do this life saving work without wonderful volunteers, adopters and fosters, as well as support from their communities and followers. Rescues and shelters are constantly in crisis because they can’t keep up with the number of stray rabbit and surrender requests they receive on a daily basis. My heart breaks for all the buns in need and it is clear that rabbits need more people on their side.
